NASCAR Drivers Experience Mexican Culture

As the exciting Nascar Mexico City Weekend approaches, four prominent drivers from the championship have arrived in Mexico City. Led by Mexican driver Daniel Suárez, they represent different teams such as Trackhouse Racing, Hendrick Motorsports, Team Penske, and Joe Gibbs Racing, and experienced a unique adventure in the capital.

During their stay, the drivers had the chance to immerse themselves in Mexican culture in a special way. Daniel Suárez, as the host, took them to taste a variety of tacos at the famous restaurant Tacos Atarantados. There, they not only enjoyed the food but also actively participated in making their own tacos al pastor, immersing themselves in the Mexican culinary experience.

"I love sharing this part of Mexican culture with my colleagues. Tacos are an essential part of our gastronomy, and I am glad that they had the opportunity to try them, and even prepare them!" Suárez expressed, excited to show his fellow drivers such a significant aspect of his country.

Subsequently, the fun continued with a visit to a lucha libre show, one of the most emblematic spectacles of Mexico. In an atmosphere full of energy and excitement, the drivers could closely witness the passion and skills that characterize this traditional Mexican sport, thus delving into yet another facet of the country's culture.

This pre-NASCAR Mexico City Weekend gathering not only provided an enriching experience for the drivers but also served as a preview of what fans can look forward to in June, when Mexico City will become the epicenter of world motorsport. This event will be historic as it marks the first points race of the Nascar Cup Series outside the United States, promising a weekend full of action and excitement for all racing enthusiasts.
